Since 2022, Ground UP has offered movement workshops in tandem with our creation and performance aspects of the festival as a commitment to continuing education. Class styles have included Partnering, Improvisation, Afrobeats, Contemporary Technique, Yoga Flow, Bollywood, Afro Fundamentals, and Line Dancing.

About the sessions
Advanced level contemporary dance classes with local instructors. February 23: Camille will be drawing movement inspiration from her recent trip to Beijing, focusing on floor work and spiral /circular ease with an upbeat flow. The class will incorporate fun technical phrases and finish with a rhythmical physical phrase to learn and experience.

Accessibility
The Kingston School of Dance (KSD) is located at the Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning and is a wheelchair accessible space. Accessible parking spaces are available in both the lower parking lot and the accessible lot adjacent to the Tett. KSD is on the 3rd floor and can be accessed through the main doors. The school's studio space is also accessible, featuring sprung dance flooring, adjustable barres, mirrors, and professional sound and lighting. There are two gender neutral washrooms onsite.
